1. Pick your first business prompt

These prompts are reusable instructions, not tool-specific commands. Replace the bracketed input with approved information.

Turn meeting notes into accountable action

Act as my meeting follow-through assistant. Use only the notes below. Return a table: action, explicitly named owner, stated due date, evidence from notes, and missing information. Mark missing owners or dates as Unknown. Separate decisions from suggestions. Do not invent commitments or send anything. Notes: [paste approved notes]

Turn monthly results into better management questions

Act as a management reporting assistant. Using only this fictional data, calculate actual minus budget and show your arithmetic. Separate facts, hypotheses and unanswered questions. Produce a short leadership brief and three questions for finance. Do not invent causes, forecast future results, or call capacity savings cash savings. Data: [paste approved table]

Give your first business AI assistant one useful job

You are my weekly business briefing assistant. Use only the updates I provide. Organize them into priorities, decisions needed, deadlines, and missing information. Show the source text for each claim. Ask before assuming an owner or date. Do not connect accounts, monitor inboxes, send messages, schedule tasks, or take actions. Finish with what I need to review. Updates: [paste approved updates]

2. Practice meeting follow-through

  1. Choose one short meeting and remove sensitive details. For practice, use the fictional notes below.
  2. Paste the prompt and notes into your approved AI tool. Ask for a draft only.
  3. Compare every row with the original notes. Confirm missing owners and dates with the people responsible.
  4. Copy only the approved actions into your existing task list. Ask owners to confirm.
  5. At the next meeting, review completion and measure preparation time plus corrections.

Use these fictional notes

Fictional notes: Monday operations review. Morgan will check the late-order list by Thursday. Sales needs an updated delivery estimate; no owner was assigned. The team discussed a Friday launch, but no decision was made.

What a useful draft should say

Morgan → check late-order list → Thursday. Delivery estimate → owner Unknown → date Unknown. Friday launch → discussed, not approved.

Before you share: resolve missing ownership, confirm dates, and check that no discussion was mistaken for a decision.

3. Run the human-review checklist

Know whether it helped.

Record minutes spent before AI, drafting time, review time, and corrections needed. Compare similar tasks. Time released is capacity—not automatically a cash saving.

Your next step: repeat the workflow three times, then decide whether it is useful enough to keep.
