Z Business Readiness · Founder-led pilot

A stronger business today.
A clearer story for a buyer tomorrow.

You should not have to discover a missing renewal, a billing gap or an undocumented process when a buyer asks about it. Z Business Readiness is a service designed to help your team spot gaps, assign action and keep the evidence organized.

02 · Where is your business today?

Explore without sharing company data. The examples below are illustrative; a pilot is scoped with Jeff before any monitoring starts.

Exact requirements depend on your locations, activities and agreements. Your team and appropriate advisers approve what is tracked.

From a reminder to a resolved issue

Know what needs attention.
Know who is doing something about it.

01 / Spot

A useful heads-up

Configured checks flag missing records, approaching deadlines or unexpected changes in the information you provide.

02 / Explain

The business reason

Z explains what the issue could affect, links to its source and suggests a practical next step in everyday language.

03 / Follow through

An owner and a record

A person reviews the issue, takes responsibility and confirms completion with evidence. Unresolved items stay visible.

Illustrative weekly brief · Field services

Three insurance certificates expire before next month’s jobs.

Why you care: Your team may need updated proof before work can begin.

Next step: Operations requests current certificates from those subcontractors.

Close the loop: A reviewer checks the new documents and records the approved expiration dates.

A recurring service with a practical starting point

Focused pilot

Agree the measures before rollout.

Ongoing subscription

The proposed service includes scheduled checks, a weekly leadership brief and a monthly review of open actions and evidence.

Scope and pricing agreed before enrollment.

Subscriptions are scoped to locations, workflows, data sources and review needs. Integrations, security controls, data retention and any specialist review are agreed during setup. This page does not connect to your systems or monitor your company.

Why start before a buyer is involved?

Good records and repeatable processes take time to establish. Starting earlier gives your team time to fix gaps while improving how the business runs. It can make a buyer’s review easier; it cannot guarantee an acquisition or a higher sale price.

Does this replace my finance, HR or compliance team?

No. Z helps them find and organize exceptions and follow up on work. People approve requirements and make consequential decisions. Legal, tax, payroll and regulatory judgments remain with qualified professionals.

Is this a compliance certification or a readiness score?

No. The goal is an evidence-based view of what is documented, what needs review and what is still unknown. Missing evidence is visible, not treated as proof that a requirement has been met.

Do I need to upload sensitive documents now?

No. Start with a business-level conversation. If a pilot needs documents, we first agree access, handling and retention. You can request a mutual NDA before sharing sensitive information.
